Dr. Barbara McKibbin, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Barbara McKibbin earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University and has been practicing for five years. Her professional interests include internal medicine, infectious cases, and preventative medicine. What sets her apart is her approach to well-rounded care that encompasses what is best for her patients and the people and families connected to the pets. In her free time, Dr. McKibbin loves spending time with her husband and two daughters, as well as being outside, hiking, horseback riding, and watching storms. She is also an artist and loves painting and drawing. A fun fact about Dr. McKibbin: She grew up in rural Minnesota, where she showed horses and was extensively involved in 4-H and FFA. She completed an equine internship her first year out of vet school and then transitioned to mixed animal (small animal and equine) for four years before starting at PetsVet Animal Hospital. Dr. Barbara’s beloved pets include two dogs, a cat, a horse, a pony, and many chickens.
